Hookin UP, Continued

OK - So by now you know that an HDMI, can carry both Audio ( Sound ) and Video ( Picture ).

So if all of your components have an HDMI plug. And there are three types,

Then you can hook them up, component to component via HDMI cables.

The only problem is when you have more components, then you actually have inputs for, on your Home Theater AVReceiver.  For example: lets say you have a Yamaha DSP-A1 (Awesome).  BUT - The DSP-A1, does not support HDMI.  You can also fix that now, thanks to DVDO.

One such component, "The DVDO Edge."

They also make the NEW “4K” compatible - "DVDO Quick 6"

These are just two devices that allow you to connect all of your components into them, as the MASTER or "Switch Box" and then hook to your receiver, and another separate connection to your new BIG SCREEN HiDef TV.
